  Unfortunately, Ojai's persistence in creating a mediocre coffee experience continues. On two visits, produced espresso based drinks that are bitter and sour, with scalded milk. An excellent La Marzocco machine, and the potential of a pour-over bar to lure me in. Friendly staff and a pleasant ambience. Nice food. But poorly trained baristas and no insistence on creating a well crafted drink. My regular barista is the 2015 World champion (Ona coffee, Canberra) so my standards are admittedly high. But while this is marginally better than Ojai Coffee roasting, JB Coffee Connection -with a very modest machine and infrastructure- produces a FAR better coffee. Smooth, well prepared and presented. But I have to walk 5km to get to JB:-(. Which is worth it.
  
  So i keenly hope that NoSo gets its coffee act together. Its not hard to do, and expecting a great flat white in Ojai proper should not be too great an ask. And the location, food and people are promising.

  Delicious strong drip coffee and breakfast served till 3pm! So perfect for wake up late vacation area.
